Position Summary:

The Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of pipeline pigging, cleaning, displacement, nitrogen operations, and inspection support projects. The role serves as the focal point between the client, project team, and management, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with contractual, operational, and QHSE requirements.

The Supervisor leads field personnel, coordinates site activities, manages project resources, and ensures compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.

 

Job Description:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day field operations for pipeline pigging and inspection projects.

  • Lead project mobilization, equipment preparation, site setup, project execution and demobilization activities.

  • Review project requirements, procedures, method statements, risk assessments, and customer specifications.

  • Conduct site visits and collect project information required for execution planning and preparation of equipment.

  • Coordinate project logistics, personnel deployment, transportation, accommodation, and site access requirements.

  • Manage permit-to-work activities, Job Risk Assessments (JRA), and Task Risk Assessments (TRA).

  • Ensure safe rigging, operation, and maintenance of pigging equipment, pumps, hoses, nitrogen units, and associated tooling.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and site representatives during project execution.

  • Organize toolbox talks, safety meetings, and project briefings.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure execution according to schedule and contractual requirements.

  • Identify, document, and communicate non-conformities, operational issues, and project risks.

  • Prepare daily operational reports and provide regular project updates to management.

  • Supervise and mentor Operators and Senior Operators.

  • Plan project workloads and coordinate resources to maximize operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with company QHSE requirements and client safety standards, including ADNOC requirements.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline pigging, pipeline services, inspection support, or industrial operations.

  • Previous experience supervising field ILI operations within the oil & gas industry, mainly in ADNOC Group.

  • Sound knowledge of pipeline pigging operations, pipeline cleaning, displacement, nitrogen services, and equipment operation.

  • Good understanding of Inline Inspection (ILI) technologies and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspection projects.

  • Previous experience working on ADNOC projects and familiarity with ADNOC Permit-to-Work systems, WMS, and HSE requirements is highly preferred.

  • Experience preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and work procedures.

  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lead multicultural teams in challenging operational environments.

  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

 

Additional Requirement:

Candidates with direct experience in managing Pigging and Inline Inspection (UT) projects for ADNOC assets, including offshore and onshore pipelines, will be given preference.
