About the Next Gen Program – Start September
In 2 years, we train you to become a fully qualified Inspection Engineer. From day one, you’ll join international projects under the guidance of experienced engineers, trainers, and a dedicated buddy. You will follow both technical and personal development training, including:
ILI 1 & IGI 1
Data analysis
Soft skills training
Safety training (VCA and others)
Certifications such as BE driving license, forklift, offshore, and aerial work platform
You will learn to operate our unique high-tech inspection tools: Multi Body UT Surveyor, Heater UT Surveyor and Pipe Explorer MFL ILI Robot. Learn more about our Inspection service line in this video: Intero The Power of Integrity EN SUBS
Your workweek
On site (approx. 20 weeks per year, worldwide)
You’ll travel to client locations around the world, from Australia to Africa, Mexico to the Netherlands, to perform inspections with our high-tech tools. You’ll convert data into initial recommendations and discuss results with the client team.
At the office (Tricht)
You’ll prepare inspection tools, ensuring they are ready for the next project. You’ll have ample time and guidance to learn the craft so that over time you can independently prepare and execute inspections.
Who we are looking for
Technical degree (HBO, associate degree, or MBO-4); both starters and experienced candidates are welcome
Interest in high-tech equipment, data, and robotics
Adventurous mindset and willingness to travel internationally
Stress-resistant, proactive, and flexible
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
We are particularly interested in candidates with an excellent command of French and German. If you do not meet this requirement, we still warmly encourage you to apply.
Driver’s license B and willingness to obtain offshore certifications
Valid EU work permit and passport
Safety- and quality-conscious, and physically able to work in challenging locations
What we offer
Paid traineeship from day one with a competitive starting salary of €3269,- to €3525,- per month (based on 40 hours per week), plus 8% holiday allowance, aligned with your knowledge and experience
Salary growth during the program when you achieve training milestones
Up to 25% variable allowance for on-site projects
Job and away bonus, plus compensation for time spent abroad.

Travel allowance or full public transport reimbursement
Intensive 2-year training program with extensive hands-on experience
